How-To with Tito’s Vodka: Peach & Ginger Infusion
Excited to dive in to the delicious demos we’ve got planned for the 2012 Festival? Here’s a bonus session to tide you over until the event kicks off on May 10th: learn how to create a peach & ginger vodka infusion at home with Tito Beveridge, founder of Tito’s Vodka.
Tito Beveridge has been making his world-class vodka in Austin, TX at his distillery there for the last 15 years and still taste tests every batch to ensure perfect consistency.
Tito’s Handmade Vodka is made from 100% corn and distilled six times in small pot stills just like a high-end French Cognac or a single malt Scotch. It has won many awards, including the 2001 unanimous double gold medal at the World Spirits Competition and the 2010 World’s Best Vodka Tonic at the Ultimate Cocktail Challenge and is available in all 50 states.
Tito focuses on making his one unflavored vodka the best it can be and encourages the fans of his vodka to create their own flavors at home with natural ingredients by infusing. He even goes one step further and makes videos from his kitchen about how to make his favorite infusions like this one, with ginger and peaches.
Tito’s Handmade Vodka is proudly participating in the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival and can be enjoyed at the PIG OUT: Southern Style Party, in the Connoisseur Lounge (daily), in the Pop-Up Restaurant (nightly), at the Southern Cocktail Hour (for pass holders only) at the Loews Atlanta Hotel Saturday, May 12, 4:30-6:00pm and in the Tasting Tents each day.
