Chris Lilly

Chris Lilly is the Vice President and partner of Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q and one of America’s best-known pitmasters. He also heads the award-winning Big Bob Gibson Cooking Team, and holds the title of thirteen World BBQ Championships in meat categories and four Memphis in May Grand Championships. He is the national spokesperson for Kingsford Charcoal and a Celebrated Chef by the National Pork Board. In 2009, Chris authored a compilation of recipes, stories, and expert advice on outdoor cooking: BIG BOB GIBSON’S BBQ BOOK: Recipes and Secrets from a Legendary Barbecue Joint. His second book, FIRE & SMOKE: A Pitmaster’s Secrets, was released in 2014.
