Feizal Valli is a bartender and artist who relocated to Birmingham from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
Valli began working in New Orleans as a bartender in 1997 on Bourbon Street. He later opened his own bar in Cape Town, South Africa, which he ran for 3 years. He returned to New Orleans and worked at Emeril Lagasse’s NOLA restaurant until Katrina forced him to move. He has tended bar at Highlands Bar and Grill, Cafe Dupont, 26 and Hot & Hot Fish Club. He was a finalist in a national bartending contest sponsored by GQ magazine and Bombay Sapphire gin in 2011. In 2012 he was a presenter at the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival.
Valli was the designer, bar manager and principal bartender at The Collins Bar which is listed among the Worlds Best Bars. He is now consulting with bars and restaurants in across the Southeast and recently opened his next bar concept with his wife Rachael, The Atomic Lounge in February of 2017 in Birmingham, AL.
