Asha Gomez draws much of her inspiration from her unique birthplace, Kerala, India. The vibrant culture and regional dishes are reflected in her cooking. Her first restaurant, Cardamom Hill, won critical acclaim and her subsequent projects, The Third Space and Spice to Table, continue to impress. Her award winning Kerala-style fried chicken will be back at her forthcoming food stall, Spice Road, in Krog Street Market and her first cookbook My Two Souths, is slated to launch in 2016. In her spare time she is passionate about her advocacy work as a CARE Ambassador as well as raising her 9 year-old son, Ethan.
