Chef Gerry Klaskala is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and is the Chef and owner of Aria, Buckhead’s award-winning restaurant known for its modern take on fine American cuisine. Gerry’s concept for Aria brought him back to his original love of art, opening his own gallery to showcase his culinary creations while also evolving as a chef. He is also a co-owner of Canoe, one of Atlanta’s most celebrated restaurants. In 2015, Gerry served as Consulting Chef for Atlas, noted for its seasonal American cuisine combined with European influences. A true testament to his staying power and relevance, Atlanta Magazine just named newcomer Atlas 4th and 15-year-old Aria 5th in its 2016 Best Restaurants issue.
Klaskala’s cuisine has been featured in Bon Appetit, Gourmet, Esquire, Eater, FOOD & WINE, The New York Times, The Local Palate, USA Today, Wall Street Journal and Zagat.
