Originally hailing from New York’s Hudson Valley, drinks-man Greg Best has several years of experience in the restaurant industry. He has often been credited with igniting the craft cocktail movement in Atlanta, GA. During his tenure as founding partner at Atlanta’s Holeman and Finch Public House, Greg earned numerous accolades including two consecutive nominations as a James Beard Awards Outstanding Bar Program semi-finalist.
In 2015, Best partnered with a group of Atlanta hospitality heavyweights made up of former HF Alumna Regan Smith, award-winning mixologist Paul Calvert, Chef David Bies, and designer Bart Sasso to open the much lauded Ticonderoga Club in the Inman Park neighborhood. He can usually be found haunting T.C. and his drinks continue to find their way into a variety of local and national publications.
