After stints in venerable fine dining institutions Ryan Rogers in 2012, at the age of 26, opened his own restaurant; Feast BBQ. The barbecue restaurant framed within the scope of his childhood memories of no frills southern barbecue, church picnics, and built upon the foundation of refined culinary technique. He quickly opened a second location in 2014 after winning Eater National’s Hottest Restaurant in Louisville.
In 2015 Rogers presented at the AF&WF Rathbun’s Watch List Dinner and he was honored as an Eater National Young Gun. He then opened his ode to Kentucky Style Fried Chicken featuring Nashville Hot Chicken & potluck sides with Royals Hot Chicken.
In early 2017 Ryan Rogers along with Chef/Partner Andrew McCabe plan to tackle fresh pastas, regional Italian pizzas, and seasonal dishes with an Italian neighborhood hangout; bar Vetti. Ryan’s restaurants have been featured in The Chicago Tribune, Travel & Leisure Magazine, The New York Times, USA Today, and Garden & Gun Magazine.
