Jason cooks with Southern soul, a passion for showing off the region that molded him. He is a Shreveport native who has built Jason Brady Restaurant Group, which owns and operates Wine Country Bistro, Zocolo Eatery, Southern Fork Catering, Parish Taceaux and Wine Country Bottle Shops. He is the leading authority in the area’s local sourcing movement and feels very strongly about building a stronger “local” culinary community.
Jason graduated from LSU with an accounting degree and Johnson & Wales before diving off into a culinary trail of training that took him across the Southeast. He honed his skills at the famed Charleston Grill before moving back home to start his own endeavors. His background is a map of inspiration seen throughout his menus and venues. Jason’s cuisine radiates Southern traditions with flares of classic European techniques. Jason is hometown kind of guy that believes in giving back to his community and is very involved with many local charities.
When Jason is not working, he enjoys outdoor adventures with his family, wife Beth and sons Mason and Will.
