Julie Dalton discovered her passion for wine while waiting tables in college at Texas A&M University. After 12 years in the Biotech business, Julie finally listened to her inner calling and went into the wine business full time. After running a small program at Ranazul Tapas and Wine Bistro for three years, she got a taste of the supplier / distribution side of the business representing Terry Theise. She decided hospitality was the best way to channel her passion so she joined Michael Mina’s Wit & Wisdom inside Four Seasons Baltimore in 2011 and that’s where she currently serves as Lead Sommelier. She is an Advanced Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, Certified Wine Educator through the Society of Wine Educators and she is in the process of completing her Diploma in Wine & Spirits through the Wine & Spirits Education Trust. Most recently, Julie won DC Area Rising Star Sommelier through StarChefs.
