Lewis Donald came to be the well-respected and hard-working chef he is today through training apprenticeships and jobs at highly regarded culinary establishments with focuses on fine dining and banquet service across the South. Chef Lewis’ first apprenticeship took place at Cherokee Town and Country Club in Atlanta, from 2003 to 2005. From there, he moved to West Virginia to join the team at The Greenbrier, a highly regarded luxury resort with six full-time restaurants and cafes. A job at Charlotte Country Club brought Chef Lewis to Charlotte in 2008. He also worked at Carmel Country Club before joining Reid’s Fine Foods in 2015, just in time for Reid’s Fine Foods’ major expansion to SouthPark Mall. Even though Chef Lewis specializes in upscale cuisine, his favorite food to cook is smoked barbecue.
