Jeremiah Bacon, a five-time James Beard Foundation semifinalist for Best Chef Southeast, is Executive Chef and Partner of The Macintosh and Oak Steakhouse, both located in his hometown of Charleston, S.C. Bacon joined Charleston’s beloved Oak Steakhouse in November 2010 where he presents classic steakhouse fare in an impeccable setting on historic Broad Street. In 2011, Bacon brought new-American cuisine to an inviting Lowcountry table with the opening of The Macintosh on Charleston’s upper King Street. Since opening, the restaurant was awarded the much coveted recognition.
