Inspired by the familiar flavors from his childhood in southern Louisiana, Chef Kelly English incorporates that essence into each of his restaurant concepts, Restaurant Iris and The Second Line in Memphis, TN and Oxford, MS and Magnolia House in Biloxi, MS at Harrah’s Gulf Coast Casino. Named one of FOOD & WINE’s “Best New Chefs” in 2009, English was also named “Restaurateur of the Year” by the Memphis, TN Restaurant Association, and has been featured in FOOD & WINE, Everyday with Rachael Ray, Bon Appétit, and Garden & Gun. English is committed to using fresh and local ingredients whenever possible on all menu items, including seasonal specials and freshly squeezed cocktails that are always tailor-made.
