April Robinson

April Robinson was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. She remembers being curious about food from a young age. The curiosity continued into adulthood where she decided to attend culinary school. Once completing, Robinson found herself in Charlotte, NC, working as a personal chef. It was there where she began to dabble in cupcakes, and Butter cupcakes evolved. Robinson returned home to purse this dream. After three years of baking she decided to go after her true love- the savory side of the culinary world. Butter Tapas was soon born. Robinson is self-described as “a girl living life through food.”
