Frederick Corriher is the owner and founder of Frederick Corriher Wine, a Charleston, South Caroline-based import company that specializes in authentic, grower-made wines from France. Corriher represents some of the world’s most prominent estates, such as Domaine de la Vieille Julienne in Chateauneuf-du-Pape — but also smaller, lesser-known estates like Domaine Durieu in Southern Rhone and Domaine des Schistes in Roussillion.
Corriher started learning about wine at an early age. His father, Frederick Corriher Jr., taught wine education at home. However, it was during a trip to Burgundy in the summer of 1999 that a love affair with French vignerons and their culture began. In May of 2004, Corriher was inducted into the exclusive Burgundian wine society, the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin at the Château du Clos de Vougeot in France.
He founded Frederick Corriher Wine in the fall of 2014. He lives in Charleston, South Carolina with his wife, Lindsey Walker.
