Joe Briand began his career in hospitality while attending Loyola University in New Orleans. He was a member of the opening staff at Herbsaint Restaurant in 2001 and quickly moved into management with the Link Restaurant Group. During his ten plus year tenure with the Link Group Joe served as General Manager, Director of Operations and ran the wine programs at multiple locations, most notably Herbsaint. Joe was the opening manager and wine buyer for Carte des Vins, a fine wine retail store and Lucky Rooster, an Asian bistro with a focus on German and Austrian wine. In 2017 Joe joined the team at Bacchanal Wine and Spirits as the Wine Room Manager. He can be found in the wine room most days pulling corks and wearing one of his vast collection of nerdy wine T Shirts. He is a long time board member of the New Orleans Chapter of the Komen foundation for the Cure.
