Matt Lee

Matt, along with his brother, Ted, are Charleston-raised siblings who first channeled their passion for southern food into The Lee Bros. Boiled Peanuts Catalogue, a mail-order source for southern pantry staples, and later into careers writing about food, wine and travel. They’ve published three award-winning cookbooks, written hundreds of features for magazines and newspapers, and are the hosts of “Southern Uncovered,” the first exclusively-southern travel show, on Ovation TV. Their series of out-of-print cookbook reissues, The Lee Brothers Classic Library, is published by Rizzoli. Matt lives with his wife, Gia, and their three sons in Charleston, SC.
