William Dissen

Chef William Dissen learned at a young age that great food starts with farm fresh ingredients. You can find him cooking something great in the kitchens of one of his restaurants across the state of North Carolina – The Market Place in Asheville, Haymaker in Charlotte, and Billy D’s Fried Chicken in Asheboro – serving locally inspired dishes and hand crafted food. Dissen is an award winning chef who focuses on using the best ingredients from local farms and artisan producers. When he’s not in the kitchen, he’s working to make a positive impact in his communities through the good food movement.
