He brings with him a wealth of experience and a nuanced perspective from a lifetime in the hospitality industry. Chef Pera strives to let the ingredients speak for themselves and guide his culinary creations. The culinary philosophy at the hotel’s restaurants revolves around showcasing amazing local ingredients. Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Chef Pera enjoys being outdoors. When he’s not in the kitchen, you’ll likely find him fishing with his family or grilling for his four sons and wife at the barbecue. He credits the chefs he has worked with over the years for teaching him the skills that have shaped his career. “It has been a journey,” Chef Pera says, “and I owe it to the chefs I have worked with during my career who took the time to teach me.”
